Tina Demou, D.P.M.

Tina Demou, D.P.M. is a 1990 graduate of Vermilion High School.  While in high school she was a member of the Varsity Tennis team, Spanish Club, Ski Club, Drama Club, and Future Problem Solvers Club.  She was a representative in Student Council, a Class Officer and the Secretary for the National Honor Society.

While attending college at Ohio Northern Tina participated in Varsity Tennis and was a member of the Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. She was also a member of the Beta Beta Beta Biology Honorary Fraternity and Habitat for Humanity.  Dr. Demou received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from ONU in 1994.  She received her doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1999.  In 2002 Tina graduated from Post Doctoral 3 year Podiatric Surgical Residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center.  Tina is a well respected owner and physician at the Vermilion Foot and Ankle facility which she established in Vermilion in 2002.  In 2004 she became Board certified in the treatment of diabetic lower extremity wounds, and one of the founding physicians of Community Health Partners Regional Burn and Wound Center.  The daughter of Steve and Marlene, Tina is married to Paul Gentile, she attributes much of her achievement and success to their guidance and the educational foundation she received from the Vermilion Local Schools.  An active member of the Vermilion Lioness Club, Tina also has sponsored Little League Softball and Baseball teams as well as the 5k Woollybear Race in the fall.  Dr. Demou takes great pleasure in using her talents and knowledge to serve the people of Vermilion.  It is her hope that other VHS graduates go on to achieve their goals and return to Vermilion and help the community.  Tina Demou will be escorted by VHS Student Council members Mary Scott Clark and Courtney Blakely.
