Clarence J. Wolf
.

Clarence J. Wolf is a 1942 graduate of Vermilion High School. As a high school student-athlete Clarence was captain of the football and basketball teams. He was offered a four-year athletic football scholarship to attend Miami of Ohio, but was unable to accept as he was drafted into the Navy. Clarence spent three years in the service of our country as an Electrician’s Mate First Class.
Mr. Wolf is the owner of Wolf Electric for 35 years, and he is co-owner of Edna-Mae’s Ice Cream Parlor. In addition to meeting the demands of self-employment, Clarence has been very active in service to the city of Vermilion. He has served as Past President of the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club. Mr. Wolf was a Charter member of AMVETS and the VFW. Clarence has always maintained an active interest in the sports program at Vermilion, having served as President of the Athletic Booster Club. Mr. Wolf is married to Edna and they have six children: Mike Wolf, Jim Wolf, Mary Jane Grob, Mary Jo Girard, Mary Ellen Vandersmith, and Bob Wolf. He has fifteen grandchildren and great grandchild. Mr. Wolf will be escorted by VHS Student Council members Julie Kapanke and Corey Rodriguez.
