Welcome to Mr.Dillon`s web page. We`re under construction but,eventually, what you will find on the pages above is the following:
1."PE Pics"-This page will display pictures from our daily PE classes and show you many of the activities our boys and girls learn during the year.
2."PE News"-This page will offer insights to our class as to what we are doing in P.E.class and other things related to our subject.
3."Archives"-This page is will be AWESOME ! Mr.Dillon is going to dig out the scrap books and post pictures of "SOUTH STREET PAST". Many of our current students may see what their moms and dads did at South Street School !!

JUST WHO IS MR. DILLON
Mr. Dillon taught 31 years (All 31 at South Street School). He has taught the physical education classes at South Street since 1976-77; 1-6,then K-5 for several years and K-2 for the last 16 years. Mr.Dillon graduated from Wittenberg University in 1975 and received his masters degree from Cleveland State in 1985.He has coached various sports over the years, including wrestling (at the high school and middle schools), gymnastics (at the high school) and track (at the middle school). He also is the boys freshmen baseball coach at Admiral King High School and with Lorain Youth Baseball in the summer, coaching 9 and 10 year old boys and girls (hit "cool links" and then American Slovak Club to visit our baseball site).
Mr.Dillon grew up in Lorain, graduating from Admiral King High School. He and his wife Bambi still reside in Lorain and have been married for 30 wonderful years.
PURPOSE OF THIS SITE
The purpose of our site is to #1.inform you of the the things we do in our physical education classes, to hopefully answer some of the "why we do things" and I`ll touch more on my personal teaching philosophy a little later.#2.we want to be educational as well. Some of the links you`ll find in the "cool links" page will provide some stimuli to feed your hungry little brain cells. I`ll supply you with some homemade "brainfood" as well. And #3 We`ll also try to entertain and amuse you with some of our web pics, both past and present.
