VHS Librarian/Media Specialist Retires
Vermilion High School Librarian/Media Specialist Ellen Hunter is retiring after 24 years of service for the Vermilion School District and 35 years overall. Ellen started as a Librarian for Lorain City Schools in 1973 for 9 years. Ellen then taught English for 2 years at Admiral King. Ellen started at Vermilion Middle School as Librarian for 3 years and then Vermilion High School for the past 21 years. Here at VHS, Ellen was an English teacher for the first 7 years and Librarian/Media Specialist the past 14 years. Ellen was also Library Department Head for K-12 and Teacher Mentor. Ellen will be deeply missed at VHS. She plans on relaxing and reading in her spare time.
