NHD State Qualifiers Heading to Columbus
March 25, 2013
Eighty-four Vermilion students, teachers and parents traveled to Terra State Community College in Fremont for National History Day district level competition on March 23. The local event was sponsored by the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center.
Students spent the day meeting with judges, answering questions and presenting their projects in competition with students from eight surrounding school districts. All of the Sailorway participants did a fantastic job and should be proud of their hard work!
The story continues for 39 hardworking 6th and 7th graders who created the 16 winning projects that were awarded the opportunity to compete at the State level Ohio History Day Competition to be held at Ohio State University on April 27, 2013. Congratulations to all of our State qualifiers!
