How To Create an Account using Parent PowerSchool Access IDs & Passwords
Over the summer, Vermilion Local Schools transitioned to a new student data system using Pearson PowerSchool. Parents accustomed to accessing their student’s assignments, grades, attendance information via ProgressBook will begin using Pearson’s Power School with the 2012-2013 school year. Access IDs and access passwords will be provided in a letter being mailed home the week of September 17, 2012. Parents will find Power School very similar to Progress Book in terms of the student information available.
Please find the detailed instructions on creating parent accounts below.
Note: Access IDs and password information will be provided separately for each individual student.
PowerSchool is portable! The PowerSchool for Parents app is available for download from the App Store and compatible with the iPhone®, iPad® or iPod touch®. Parents can easily view each child's progress in a single feed to check grades, review assignments, and more! Also included in both apps is the option for students and parents to share classroom information through Facebook and Twitter.
Use the download links below on your Apple iOS device. Parents will need to create the parent account using the directions above.
