Vermilion Candidate Night
Co-sponsored by Vermilion Teachers Association and Vermilion Local Schools
October 4th, 6:30 PM at Vermilion High School
Erie and Lorain County candidates, as well as candidates for state elections, were invited last spring. VHS government students researched information regarding candidates for office in both counties. The students composed and sent letters to the candidates inviting them to participate.
The format will include a short statement by each candidate followed by a question and answer session.
The following candidates have agreed to participate:
A.J. Torres- Lorain County Sheriff
Phil R. Stammitti- Lorain County Sheriff
Robert DeLamtre- Supreme Court Justice
Yvette McGee Brown- Supreme Court Justice (sending a surrogate)
Jeff Krabill- Erie County Treasurer
Dan Ramos- State Representative
Christopher Redfern- State Representative
