Little Anchors Preschool parents/guardians:
Due to COVID-19, we are announcing a change in our programming/offerings for the 2020-2021 school year. With the safety of our students, families, and staff in mind, we will follow the regulations and recommendations released by the state of Ohio and the Ohio Department of Education. Pandemic daycare/preschool guidelines currently require a significant reduction in our preschool class size and offerings.
To comply with the new guidelines, we will only be enrolling 9 total model peers for the 2020-2021 school year. These students must pass a developmental screener, and will be enrolled in our center-based classrooms. There will be no general education preschool program for the 2020-2021 school year. Enrollment for the model peer slots for the 2020-2021 school year is currently closed.
Due to COVID-19 and restrictions regarding face-to-face assessment and screening, priority for enrollment will be given to students who were enrolled in the 2019-2020 school year and qualify as model peers. All returning families should check their email account today for an announcement.
Any family that applied for preschool prior to the March school closure will be contacted directly by Brooke Spafford, preschool coordinator.
