Devon Snook Inducted into Ohio Speech and Debate Association Hall of Fame
Devon Snook Inducted into Ohio Speech and Debate Association Hall of Fame
This past Friday morning at Austintown Fitch High School, our very own Devon Snook was inducted into the Ohio Speech and Debate Association (OSDA) Hall of Fame! Devon and his late father Fred became the first-ever father and son inductees of the OSDA Hall of Fame. As you would fully expect, Devon gave an outstanding acceptance speech in a packed auditorium full of students and debate coaches from across Ohio, all there for the 2023 state speech and debate tournament. Congratulations, Devon, on an incredible honor, and for recognition of your extraordinary impact on your students' lives and on the OSDA. Vermilion is very proud of you!

New GPS Transportation App!
The Transportation Department and administration of Vermilion Local School District are pleased to announce the introduction of a new software application for parents of students who ride school buses.  Versatrans My Stop® allows parents to track school bus locations and arrival times, as well as receive notifications of delays, breakdowns, and other transportation related information.

The app will be available to parents beginning May 1, 2022.

PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM IS SIMPLE!
1.  Download the Versatrans My Stop® app using the instructions on this document

2. The username and password for My Stop is the same as your username and password for Versatrans e-Link®.

3.  For those who do not use e-Link, the username is your child’s PowerSchool ID number.   The password is your child’s date of birth with no punctuation (for example, 09/30/2001 would be entered as 09302001).

A page of “Frequently Asked Questions” is available here:   GPS My Stop Users Frequently Asked Questions
This document will answer many of your questions about the app’s functionality and purpose.

We hope that you find the app helpful!  Questions that are not answered in the instruction sheet or FAQ’s can be emailed to [email protected] or call 440-204-1700, ext. 141 to leave a message.
