Salvation Army Backpack Program

The Vermilion Salvation Army, in conjunction with Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio, provides the Backpack Program for students in grades K-3 at Vermilion Elementary School. The Backpack Program distributes bags of food to eligible students each Friday. The foods are for weekend use and are kid friendly. No adult supervision is required for students to prepare the contents of their weekend bag.

During the 2020-2021 school year, families must apply for Free and Reduced Lunch on-line AND sign a waiver, allowing the district to share their information. Parents who complete both these steps will then get a registration form to sign and return to Mrs. Greenawalt.  We hope to begin the program during the week of November 9, 2020.

Please contact Mrs. Greenawalt at 440-204-1700 #641 with any questions.
