On the eve of Thanksgiving, the administrative staff, including the Board of Education and myself, want to express how grateful we are for the hard work, dedication, and commitment our staff and the greater Vermilion community have given to our children every day. We are again in the midst of an unprecedented school year with the ongoing pandemic. The challenges being faced are unique and stressful. Teachers, staff, and parents have had to be creative as we all strive to meet each student’s educational needs, while also addressing social and emotional wellbeing.

Security Update All visitors to Vermilion Local School District buildings will be asked to provide their full name and purpose of visit before entry is granted. Upon entry, visitors are now required to show a drivers license or state-issued photo ID. Thank you for your patience as we continue to update procedures and improve safety for our students, staff, and visitors.
