A message from Principal Lisa Deliz:

This school year is quickly coming to a close and there were many questions about what we could and could not do this year.  We have recently received some guidance and feel that we can safely provide students with fantastic end of the year opportunities.  Here are some final dates and times of activities that our students and families look forward to yearly.

In order to participate in the graduation ceremony students must complete all coursework by May 21, 2021.  If their coursework is complete and the student wishes to walk at graduation, they  will be required to participate in a mandatory graduation practice on May 24.  Seniors must attend graduation practice to participate in the ceremony.

Graduation will be held outside in the stadium on May 28 at 7:00 PM.  Each senior will receive eight (8) tickets for the ceremony.  We will have more information about the ceremony closer to the date. Rain dates are May 29 and May 30 at 7:00 PM at the stadium.  Having the ceremony outside allows us to make more tickets available to families!

Evening of Excellence this year will be held outside at the stadium on May 6 at 6:30 PM.  The rain date will be May 10 at 6:30 PM at the stadium.  We don’t anticipate a maximum crowd, so we will not issue tickets for this event.

Prom will be May 15 with red carpet arrival starting at 6:30 PM.  The dinner/dance will be from 7:00 PM-11:00 PM at the high school.  More details about Prom will be shared with the Senior Class as the date approaches.

Our Local Scholarship evening will be May 24 at 6:30 PM in the auditorium.  Students will be notified ahead of the evening to know if they should be in attendance. Each student receiving a scholarship will get 2 tickets for the event. The ceremony will be taped and placed on our website for others to view.

More details for each event will come out closer to the date in case new guidelines are provided to us.

Please let me know if you have any questions. We are so fortunate to be able to offer these opportunities to the Class of 2021.  I look forward to seeing you all soon!

Best,
Lisa Deliz
