Personal Learning Plan

Ohio Means Jobs is an online tool for students to plan, organize, track, and research.  Students create “backpacks” where to define interests, values and skills.  Students are able to search careers and develop a plan for the future.

Testing Information

·      During April and May students will participate in the state required end of course assessments, which are required for graduation.

Individual Meetings with Counselor, Academic Advisement and Course Selection

·      Individual conferences can be held with freshmen to continue to develop a relationship between the School Counselor and the student.

·      Individual appointments with students and parents to address academic, career and personal issues as needed.

·      During the second semester, individual meetings can be held to review each student’s academic progress, to explain and answer any questions regarding course selection, and to ensure students are taking the proper credits towards graduation.

·      Advise student on participation in College Credit Plus dual enrollment opportunities.
